In recent news, the latest models of the Apple MacBook Air with M3 chip are going on sale in India today. Notably, the models include the 13-inch and the 15-inch.
Starting from today, i.e., March 9, the new MacBook air M3 13 and the MacBook Air M3 15 can be purchased from the official Apple website, as well as other online and offline retail stores.
One interesting factor is that customers wishing to purchase any of the two, can customize their purchased models as well. Notably, this goes beyond choosing the color variant or the storage upgrade. Customers can also choose the chipset, charging speeds, RAM, and other additional software supports like Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro too.
For example, the MacBook Air can be customized with up to 24 GB RAM and 2 TB storage.
The 13-inch Apple MacBook Air with M3 chipset is available at Rs 1,14,900 for the base variant of 8 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage. Meanwhile, the 8 GB + 512 GB model has been priced at Rs 1,54,900 and the 16 GB + 512 GB variant costs Rs Rs 1,74,900.
It is important to mention that both the new models are powered by the M3 SoC. The same System on Chip also powers the MacBook Pro models of 2023 lineup. Moreover, the devices also come with new 16-core Neural engine. Apple claims that this will give the machine learning a major boost. With this, the new models will become the “world’s best consumer laptop for AI.” The Liquid Retina display in the models can go up to 500 nits of brightness. The M3 SoC is equipped with an 8-core processor, a 10-core integrated GPU with ray-tracing, and supports up to 24 GB of unified memory.
Talking about the connectivity, the new Apple MacBook Air have two Thunderbolt ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It will be available in four color options- midnight, starlight, space grey, and silver.
