Android 14 release date: When will your device get the Android 14 Stable Update?

Google will soon be launching the Android 14 update for all eligible devices. The latest Android 14 stable update release date will likely be on the same day as the launch of the Pixel 8 series, which is October 4, 2023.

The Android 14 has been under testing for quite some time now. It has gone through two developer previews and over 11 Beta updates on Pixel devices. The update is expected to bring some new features and improvements to enhance performance.

All the eligible Google Pixel devices will get the Android 14 on October 4, 2023. While the Android 14 compatible devices from a different manufacturer might receive the the Android 14 update in the future.

Check the list of Pixel devices that will receive the Android 14 stable update:

All Google Pixel series of devices above the Pixel 4a 5G including Pixel 7, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet will be eligible to get stable Android 14. It is noteworthy to mention that Pixel devices are entitled to three years of major software updates and two years of security patches. However, Google is rumored to revise this policy from 3 years to 5 years of major software updates and two more years of security updates from the Pixel 8 series onwards.

Smartphones from brands such as Samsung, OnePlus, and Xiaomi also have their own Android 14 Beta program and may release the same soon on their supported devices after Google releases the update to Pixel.
