Bhadrak: With no respite in sight from sexual assault on women, a youth allegedly raped a schoolgirl in Mirghat village under Dhusuri police limits in Bhadrak district yesterday.
The accused has been identified as Sashikant Mallick (22).
As per the report, the victim girl had gone out of his school in recess when the accused captured her. Later, he took the girl into a toilet of the school and raped there.
After the girl returned from school and narrated the whole ordeal before her parents, they lodged a complaint at Dhusuri Police Station the incident came to light.
Police have arrested the accused from her house today and interrogating him on the incident.
