Youth hacked to death in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj; 7 accused detained
A youth has been hacked to death after a family dispute in Jharporkharia police station area in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
Mayurbhanj: A youth has been hacked to death after a family dispute in Jharporkharia police station area in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Mukhi.
According to reports, Prakash Mukhi, his father and other relatives had a quarrel over past enmity. In the fit of rage, one of his relatives and brought stones and spades to attack Prakash. Following the attack, Prakash was severely injured and died on the spot.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. The cops have also initiated investigation into the matter and detained seven people in this connection.
