Kendrapara: Pattamundai Police arrested most wanted criminal Braja Kishor Sahoo from Gandakia Road near Belatala area in the district last evening. Braja was involved in a number of cases including vehicle lifting, extortion and robbery under different police station areas.
A team of 8 cops of Pattamundai Police Station raided a place near Gandakia Road getting information on the whereabouts of the criminal. Though he tried to give a slip by threatening the cops with a loaded gun, the team managed to nab him from the spot.
“Braja, a resident of Belatala village is a diehard criminal involved in at least 13 cases under different police station areas in the district”, informed Pattamundai SDPO Umashankar Maharana. “A loaded pistol with four live bullets along with three mobile sets was also seized from the possession of the accused”, he added.
Police have forwarded the most wanted to court today.
