Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids at six places, including the residence of strong room in-charge of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Surya Narayan Mahanty near Forest Park here, on Saturday.
Acting on the allegation of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, vigilance officials conducted searches at six places including Mahanty’s two houses at Samantarapur and Jyotsna Garden Apartment.
The anti-corruption team also raided his relatives’ houses to unearth possession of disproportionate assets.
Mahanty’s total assets would be known after the completion of the raids, vigilance sources said.
