Telemedicine facilities for needy patients begins in Odisha; Check details

Bhubaneswar: The Telemedicine facilities for the needy patients have already started at different places of the State.

The State Health & Family Welfare Department, in its twitter handle informed that the Telemedicine facilities have been started at the district headquarters hospitals (DHH) of Nuapada, Boudh, Kandhamal and Keonjhar districts.

The health department meanwhile has requested the people to stay at home and consult the doctors over WhatsApp voice and video calls. Besides, it has advised them to follow the advisory for day and timing.

Likewise, the telemedicine facilities also have been started at DHH of Rayagada, Jharsuguda and, Subarnapur districts and Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The State government also initiated the facilities at DHH of Sambalpur, Khurda and Jagatsinghpur.

Telemedicine services also have been started at Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Koraput districts.
