In a shocking incident, a son beat his mother to death in Karanjia area of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Thursday.
Mayurbhanj: In a shocking incident, a son beat his mother to death in Karanjia area of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Fulamani Giri, while the accused son has been identified as Mithun Giri.
According to sources, Mithun and Fulamani had a heated argument over something. During the argument, in the fit of rage, Mithun beat his mother to death.
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. The cops have also arrested the accused son and initiated a probe into the matter.
