Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident that took place in the heart of Bhubaneswar, a tuition teacher has allegedly eloped with two of his girl students.
The alleged accused has been identified as Gopala Krushna Badatia.
The incident has been reported from Badagada area in the capital city of Odisha. The two students were studying in classes 8 and 10 respectively, added reports. The incident allegedly took place on Sunday.
It has also been alleged that Gopala has been in a love affair with both the minor girls. A handwritten letter has been found at their home dated December 19. The tuition teacher was not in regular contact with his wife and child.
The minors’ parents had asked the students not to attend the tuition classes a few days ago after Gopala had made sexual advances towards following which he had threatened them to kidnap the minor girls, further added reports.
The parents have reported the matter to the local police. On getting the information, the police initiated a manhunt at various places to trace the tuition teacher along with the students.
