Kendrapara: In yet another shocking incident, a woman was allegedly raped by her husband’s friend in his presence at Kandira under Rajanagar police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.
According to a complaint filed by the woman, her husband invited one Braja Mallick to their house on June 20 while she was asleep.
The woman alleged that she was raped by Mallick in the presence of her husband and thrashed in return by the latter when showed resistance. The accused husband even beaten the woman and threatened with a knife.
The woman narrated the ordeal to her parents who lodged a complaint at the Rajanagar police station on June 22.
Meanwhile, Police has registered a case against the accused and launched a probe into the matter.
Rajnagar Police Station IIC Tapan Nayak said the truth behind the incident will come to fore after the arrest of the accused and the woman’s husband.
