Bhubaneswar: A doctor has been found dead under mysterious circumstances inside his own hospital chamber in the Bharatpur area of Bhubaneswar on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sisir Sahoo. He was an associate doctor in the Orthopedic department of a private hospital.
Reportedly, Sisir did not come out of his chamber for a long period of time last night. Due to this, other staff broke the door and found him dead inside his chamber . They immediately informed to the local police.
On getting the information, Bharatpur police arrived at the spot and recovered the body. From the preliminary investigation, it is being suspected that he has killed himself by injecting something into his body.
An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the actual cause behind the mysterious death case.
