Police Nab Four Accused Involved In Firing At Businessman In Ganjam

Berhampur: K. Nuagaon police today arrested four persons in connection with a firing incident involving a businessman at Laxminarayanpur village in Ganjam district on June 6.

The accused have been identified as A Santosh of Patrapur, Madhab Panigrahi of Mardarajpur, K Pradip Subudhi and Himansu Sahu of Berhampur.

Police said that a group of ten people were involved in firing on businessman Subash Chandra Panda (42). Panda with bullet injuries on his head and chest is currently undergoing treatment.

“A Royal Enfield motorcycle has been seized from the possession of A Santosh. The prime accused in the firing incident is still missing and we are yet to recover 10 pieces of diamond looted during the incident,” the police said.
