Police Constable Arrested For Selling Brown Sugar In Odisha Capital
Bhubaneswar: The Quick Action Team (QAT) of Commissionerate police today arrested a constable for selling brown sugar.
The accused has been identified as J.Bharimal currently posted in Police Reserve. Police said that the constable was caught red handed while selling the contraband in Behera Sahu under Naypalli police station limits.
Sources said that Bharimal was earlier booked in connection with a murder case in 2008 but was later acquitted in the case. “He is being further interrogated to ascertain the source of procurement of the contraband,” said a police official.
