Bhubaneswar: Police have busted a gang of burglars and have arrested three gang members in connection with a burglary in Chandrasekharpur area in December. Police have also seized valuables worth lakhs including gold ornaments from the accused.
The accused have been identified as Kanha Das (25), Arjun Rao (25) and Sankar Das (24). Police said that the accused were involved in burglary from a house at Niladri Vihar when the family members had been to a nearest private hospital.
“They had even decamped with LCD sets, utensils and motorcycle of the complainant. Investigation so far revealed the gang of being involved in four burglary cases in Chandrasekharpur. We are further verifying their antecedents,’ said a police official.
