Petrol and diesel prices increase for fourth consecutive day; check fuel price in your city

Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices have continued to increase for the fourth consecutive day in capital city Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Today, the petrol price in Bhubaneswar has been recorded at Rs 107.84 per litre while the diesel price has been recorded at Rs 104.30 per litre. While on Friday, the Petrol and diesel costs were recorded at at Rs 107.48 and Rs 103.92 per litre respectively.

The petrol rates has increased by 36 Paise and diesel cost has risen by 38 Paise in the last 24 hours.

All major cities of Odisha has registered petrol price above 100 and the rate of petrol in Malkangiri district has been recorded to be the highest in the state at Rs 113.42 per litre. The other major cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur and other cities has also recorded the petrol price above Rs 100 including Rs 103.92 in Chennai, Rs 107.44 in Kolkata and Rs 112.44 in Mumbai.

The diesel price in various cities are Rs 99.92 in Chennai, Rs 98.73 in Kolkata and in Mumbai the rates have crossed above Rs 100 mark at Rs 103.26.

On the other hand, the price of petrol in the national capital is recorded at Rs 106.89 per litre(up by Rs 0.35) while the price of diesel is at Rs 95.62 per litre (up by Rs 0.35).

Globally, oil prices climbed and were near multi-year highs as an energy supply crunch continued across the globe.
