Jharsuguda: Four separate firing incidents in a span of two months in Brajarajnagar area here has put the locals in panic. The local police have somehow been unsuccessful in tracing the culprits.
In the most recent incident, miscreants fired shots at one Amit Dhal near Brajarajnagar bus stand and fled from the scene. Dhal succumbed to injuries on his way to Burla Medical College and Hospital.
In a similar incident, a businessman was shot at on June 10 in Mandalia area.
The locals have expressed discontent and alleged inaction of the local police in nabbing the culprits. Meanwhile, the entire area is in a state of panic due to multiple firing incidents.
