Boudh: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s Private Secretary and Secretary, Transformation and Initiatives (5Ts) VK Pandian today paid an officials visit to Boudh district today to assess the functioning of government facilities.
Pandian, who was accompanied by Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Director Shalini Pandit reviewed the healthcare facility at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). He also had an interaction with the patients admitted to the hospital and inquired about the approach of the staffs.
Along with his team Pandian left for RTO office later and asked people waiting there about the prevailing practise by the officials and inquired whether transparency is being maintained or not.
After winding up their schedule at the RTO office the Chief Secretary and the 5Ts Secretary also made a surprise visit to Aahar Centre to had their lunch with the public there. The officials also interacted with the public about the food quality, service as well as cleanliness to which the latter replied in positive.
Pandian was on a tour to Kalahandi, Rayagada and Nuapada districts yesterday.
