Keonjhar: A youth has been killed in a road mishap near Dankuri square under Hatadihi block of Keonjhar district in Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Hasan Sheikh from West Bengal. He was a working as a mason in Odisha.
According to reports, three young men were on a bike when a paddy laden truck collided head on with their bike. Hasan reportedly died on the spot whereas the other two men sustained critical injuries.
Later, locals rushed the injured men to Anandapur Hospital by 108 ambulance.
The truck fled from the spot immediately after hitting the bike. However according to the locals, the truck belongs to a nearby mill owner.
On being informed, the Nandipada Police has initiated an investigation into the matter.
