One-and-a-half-year-old girl falls into water tub, dies

Phulbani: In an unfortunate incident, a one-and a-half-year-old girl child lost her life after she fell into a water tub in Kambaguda village under Sadar police station of Kandhamal district.

As per sources, the little girl fell into the water tub while she was playing at home. At that time, her family members did not notice this and when they did, the situation of the girl has become serious.

The baby was rushed to Gumagarh Medical College immediately in a serious condition and later to the Phulbani District General Hospital. However, the baby died while undergoing treatment. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village of Kambaguda.
