Baripada: Two bikers were killed after being knocked down by an unidentified vehicle near Jyotipur Chhak under Baripada Sadar Police limits in Odisha late last night.
The deceased have been identified as Goutam Mohanty and Ajit Mohanty of Itamundia village in Badasahi area of Mayurbhanj district in the state.
According to reports, the youths were returning home riding a bike after attending a wedding ceremony when an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle from rear. The duo reportedly died on the spot.
Meanwhile, police sent the bodies to a hospital for autopsy test and began investigation into the matter.
