Bhubaneswar: The Khandagiri Police in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar has arrested a man for Rs 2.20 lakh land fraud case. He has been identified as Yogendra Sahu.
Police also seized several agreement papers, money receipts and other incriminating documents from Yogendra’s possession.
According to reports, an individual had reportedly given Rs 2.20 Lakh to Yogendra, who had promised to provide him a piece of land.
However, he asked Yogendra to return the money as he did not keep his promise.
Instead of returning the money, Yogendra scolded him by using slang. Besides, he threatened to kill the victim. Following this, he filed a complaint at Khandagiri Police Station against Yogendra, whom cops arrested in course of the investigation.
