Odisha Govt Appoints Fintech Thought Leader Sopnendu Mohanty As Digital And Financial Technology Advisor

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today appointed globally-renowned Fintech thought leader and market reformer Sopnendu Mohanty as advisor, Digital and Financial Technology.

Mohanty has been allocated the rank of minister of state. Mohanty is the Chief FinTech Officer, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Singapore.

Prior to joining MAS, he was with Citibank and held various positions across multiple global offices. During his time in Citibank, he also co-authored several patented works in the area of retail distribution of the financial sector.
