A fake doctor has been detained from the Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital by the Balasore Town Police today. He has been identified as Ajay Bhanj.
Balasore: A fake doctor has been detained from the Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital by the Balasore Town Police today. He has been identified as Ajay Bhanj.
According to sources, police arrested Bhanj while he was examining patients and writing prescriptions for tests and medicines for them.
Ajay reached the hospital today for the treatment of his parents. However, after finding a long queue for the ticket and unable to get one, he himself started to write prescription for some patients and recommended them for some tests.
However, the security guards found out Ajay’s illegal activities and informed the police. Soon a team of cops from the Balasore Town Police station reached the hospital and detained Ajay for questioning.
During his interrogation, Ajay reportedly told the police that he is a medical representative by profession and wrote the prescriptions after a huge crowd for the OPD tickets.
Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
