Cuttack: Dreaded criminal Tapan Nayak on Monday succumbed to injuries he suffered in a gang war amidst two groups near Jobra here. The clash occurred, reportedly, on late Sunday.
Fishing at Jobra led to an argument which aggravated to a scuffle. Two, including Tapan, were left critical who were admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital. Tapan succumbed to injuries on Monday morning.
Cuttack Police have begun an investigation in the matter. More details to follow.
