Odisha CM to visit Artificial Limb Manufacturing Centre In Khurda

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is slated to inaugurate the Artificial Limb Manufacturing Centre in Khurda today.

Khurda: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is slated to inaugurate the Artificial Limb Manufacturing Centre in Khurda today. The Artificial Limb Manufacturing Centre has been set up in Gurjung area of Khurda.

The CM will visit Khurda today and inaugurate the Artificial Organ Transplantation Research Center. It is worth mentioning that, the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities had allocated Rs 15.30 lakh for the first phase of work for the proposed centre.

According to information, a primary education center was built in Khurda Gurjung in 1941 which was later closed. The school was in a dilapidated condition after it was closed less than five years ago. After the Chief Minister’s attention was drawn towards the matter, an artificial organ transplantation research center had been set up there. The Chief Minister will visit Khurda today at 5 pm to inaugurate it.

Therefore, the preparation has reached the final stage. Biju Mahavir Jaipur Foot Center is going to be there now. Rajasthan Jaipur Artificial limbs will be manufactured here by a voluntary organization. A research training center will also be run in connection with that in assocation with the Government of Odisha.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is also scheduled to address a public meeting. Security measures are being tightened ahead of the visit.

The preparation for the visit of the CM is being done under the direct supervision of Khurda SDPO. The Chief Minister’s office, supervised all the preparations including the security arrangements. High security arrangements have been made at the venue. The people of Khurda have expressed their interest in felicitating the Chief Minister.
