Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates 7 Power Projects

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated six high-power grid substations worth around Rs 450 crores.

Patnaik inaugurated the power projects through video conferencing. The power projects have been inaugurated in Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Sambalpur, Keonjhar and Khordha districts and Balangir-Kesinga 220 kV transmission line.

“Electricity is the lifeline of development… Like water, electricity is very essential for everyone today,” said the Chief Minister while speaking on the occasion.

Rural Development Minister Sushant Singh attended the function from Sambalpur while Public Enterprises Minister Ashok Panda from Khurda. Likewise, Energy Minister Dibyashankar Mishra also took part in the event from Kalahandi, Skills Development Minister Premananda Nayak from Keonjhar and Gunupur MLA Raghunath Gamanga from Rayagada.

Secretary to the Chief Minister & 5T V.K. Pandian coordinated the program while Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra and senior officials of the concerned departments were also present.
