Odisha CM approves new police station in Khurda Industrial Area

Chief Minister had earlier ordered to strengthen the security system in Khurda Industrial Estate Area during his visit in April.

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik has given his approval for a police station in Industrial Estate Police Station.

Reports further said that, 23 additional police posts will be created. It is worth mentioning that, the Chief Minister had earlier ordered to strengthen the security system in Khurda Industrial Estate Area.

And now the Chief Minister has approved the proposal of Industrial Estate Police Station police station in Khurda. This has created 23 additional posts. The 23 new posts include one inspector, six sub-inspectors, three assistant sub-inspectors, two havildars and 11 constable posts.

Similarly, two traffic police stations in Keonjhar and Barbil have also been approved by the CM of Odisha. Among the 24 posts created for these two traffic police stations are two inspectors, six assistant sub-inspectors and 16 constable posts.

The Chief Minister has approved this proposal. It aims to improve the traffic system in these two cities.
