Odisha Cabinet approves 10 projects of different departments, check details

Odisha Cabinet with met today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave its approval to a total of 10 different projects of different department.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet with met today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave its approval to a total of 10 different projects of different department.

As briefed by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena after the meeting, the State Cabinet gave its green signal for the exemption of arrear Motor vehicle tax. It also approved for restructuring of Odisha Social Security Services cadre.

The Naveen led-cabinet also gave special incentive package for the Welspun Group’s ambitious projects in Choudwar of Cuttack district and Nildugri of Sambalpur district.

Development of Utility Corridor at Gopalur and the proposal to substitute the word “Chief Administrative Officer” in place of “Sheristadar” in the Orissa District and Civil Courts’ Non-Judicial Staff Services (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008, also got the cabinet approval.

The Cabinet also approved the proposal for Amendment to Odisha SMME Development Policy 2022, Amendment to Odisha Food Processing Policy 2022.

Likewise, the Cabinet also okayed to the proposal of the Revenue & DM Department for amendment of the Odisha Government Land Settlement Rules, 1983 and the proposal of taking over of the Secondary Board High School, Cuttack by the State government with effect from January 1, 2024 to provide infrastructural development as well as quality education in the school.
