Keonjhar: Popular comedian of Odia film and TV industry Salil Mitra was injured in a road mishap near Ghatagaon in the district this afternoon.
Mitra who has acted in several Odia films is undergoing treatment at the nearest Government Hospital and is likely to be shifted to SCB Medical College in Cuttack.
As per reports Mitra faced the mishap while he was on his way to Karanjia in Mayurbhanj district in a car. The car lost its balance and turned turtle after being hit by a stray cattle.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries while the actor fractured his right leg. Mitra has also sustained severe head injuries. Both of them were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital on an ambulance.
