Bhubaneswar: Police today merged mobile-based app ‘Mo Saathi’ with the ‘Sahayata’ app of Odisha police. Mo Saathi app was launched for the safety of women in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
Sahayata app enables citizens to avail various citizen services under the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project. The app currently provides as many as 18 services including a request for FIR copy, procession request, protest/strike request, registration of lost properties, registration of missing person and character certificate request.
“Unlike Mo Saathi app Sahayata app can be used anywhere in the state. The merge was necessary to enable people to get the service across the state,” said a police official.
