Bhubaneswar: A traffic coordination meeting was today held at the Commissionerate Headquarters under the chairmanship of police commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi.
In the meeting, police requested the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to carry out repair of the road near Rasulgarh in Bhubaneswar and Madhupatna in Cuttack.
Besides the police also requested the Works department to install signage of parking areas. “ In the meeting, it was decided to evict unauthorized structures between AG Square and Rajmahal Square. Similarly, all the members unanimously agreed to paint the zebra crossing to make those visible,’ said a police official.
The meeting was attended by police officials, officials from NHAI, Transport department and Works department. The members also agreed to convene a similar meeting every month.
