Salepur: A body of missing 12-year-old boy was found dead with slit throat in Purbakacha village under Jagatpur police limits of Cuttack district.
Reports say, the boy left home last night after his parents scolded him and did not return back for a long time. His parents started searching for him and did not find about his whereabouts.
Some onlookers found the body of the missing boy in a pool of blood and informed the parents about it.
On being informed, the police reached the spot along with the scientific team.
The police saw the cut marks on his body and suspected it to be murder, according to sources. The police have started a probe into the matter and interrogating some people.
