Minor girl drowns in River in Odisha’s Balasore district

Soro: In a tragic incident a minor girl drowned in the Kansa Bansa River in Balasore district of Odisha on Monday. She had reportedly gone to the River to collect ‘sulupa’.
The deceased has been identified as a thirteen year old girl from Padhua area of Bhadrak district in Odisha.
As per reports, the minor girl had ventured into the Kansa Bansa River to collect ‘sulupa’. When she was busy with the collection, somehow her leg slipped and she was swept into the deep River pulled by the strong water current.
