Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar issued fresh warning of thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall at one or two places over several districts in Odisha on Thursday.
“Thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KM per hour likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh and Cuttack and likely to continue at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Koraput, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Kendrapara between 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM,” the latest bulletin said.
Hailstorm has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Angul of North Interior Odisha, said the Met dept today adding that light to moderate rain/thundershower has occurred at most places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha.
Ms Kalinga
