Mega Traffic Awareness Programme With 2lakh Students To Be Held In Odisha Cpaital On Monday

Bhubaneswar: A mega traffic awareness campaign programme will be held tomorrow in all govt and private schools in Bhubaneswar by Odisha Abhibhabak Mahasangha in association with Commissionerate Police.

Organisers said that around 2 lakh school students will take oath to follow traffic rules in the unique campaign.

“It will be held on prayer classes or assembly meetings in all schools. The campaign will start simultaneously at all public schools of Bhubaneswar at 10 am and will culminate at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) where twenty thousand students will take oath,” said a member of Odisha Abhibhabak Mahasangha.

Police officials said that several senior IPS officers including DGP, Satyajit Mohanty, Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi and Transport Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda will participate in the awareness programme.
