Matric question paper leak: 8 staff including superintendents suspended

Cuttack: Taking serious note of the Matric examination question paper viral incident, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has suspended four exam centre superintendents and four invigilators.

According to BSE president Jahan Ara Begum, the superintendents and invigilators of Karangamal High School and Gopitahpur High School in Boden block of Nuapada district, Sudarshan Vidyabhavan in Dhenkanal and Bandhugaon High School in Koraput district have been suspended.

Begum further said that police complaint will also be registered over the incident and a thorough inquiry will be launched into the matter.

She also urged the candidates and their parents not to worry about any such incidents assuring that the board will take all necessary steps for the smooth conduct of the exam and appropriate action as per the law against all those who are found guilty.

Notably, the question paper of the Odia language went viral on social media networking sites on the first day of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) Examination that began from today.
