Konark: The Odisha Tourism initiative and the first ‘Glamping’ event of the eastern India, the Marine Drive Eco-Retreat will kick off at the Ramachandi beach near Konark today.
The festival will provide a unique experience of glamorous camping to the visitors during its 49-day schedule and will showcase 50 luxury cottages, mouth-watering cuisine, beach spa, water sports, adventure and nature trails.
The Marine Drive Eco-Retreat has been developed as an environmentally sustainable model. Proper care has been taken to explore Puri-Konark marine drive’s potential as a premium beach holiday destination.
The retreat can accommodate 150 participants at a time.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the eco-retreat today.
