Man Found Charred On School Premises In Jagatsinghpur Dies

Jagatsinghpur: The man who was found half burnt from a school premises Daagaon village under Balikuda police limits in the district, late last night succumbed to his injuries today.

The man whose identity is yet to be ascertained died while undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital. Police have seized a knife along with few empty bottles from the spot.

The man with severe burn injuries was first spotted by a few locals who immediately informed the local police. Police later admitted him to the hospital.

Police have started an investigation in this connection. “Circumstantial evidence hinted at possible murder angle. We have sent the body for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death,” said a police official.
