Jajpur: In a tragic incident, a 40 year old man died in a road mishap on the fisrt death anniversary of his mother in Malada under Bari police limits last night.
The deceased has been identified as Harekrusha Sahu. As per reports, Sahu was returning on his motorcycle after completion of rituals at his mother’s memorial when he had a head-on collision with another motorcycle.
Sahu with serious head injuries was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital where he was declared received dead. Tension prevailed in the area after locals blocked the road connecting Bari and Baruan demanding adequate compensation for the deceased. The road blockade came to an end after the intervention of local police.
