Hanging body of woman found inside house in Ganjam district

Bhanjanagar: In a horrific incident, the hanging body of a married woman was recovered from a house. The incident took place at Hanuman sahi near Kabisuryanagar market area which comes under the jurisdiction of Kabisuryanagar police station of Ganjam district. The dead body of the married woman hanging within the house was found in her house.

According to reports, the deceased woman has been identified as Mita Panda. The woman was allegedly pregnant at the time of time. According to the family members of the woman, her husband used to consume alcohol regularly and abuse her physically as well as verbally. They have alleged that she committed suicide unable to bear the abuse any longer.

The dead body has been seized by Kabisuryanagar police station and the initial investigation regarding the matter has been started.
