Rourkela: A girl was allegedly gang raped by three youth inside a forest at Hatiada village in Lathikata of Sundargarh district.
Though the incident took place on October 29 night, the matter came to light this morning after the family members of the victim lodged a complaint at Kuarmunda police outpost.
As per reports, the victim having a relationship with one of the accused had gone to meet him along with one of her friends in the forest.
However, the accused along with two of his other friends dragged both the girls into the forest. While one of the girls managed to escape, the accused gang raped the other girl.
Police said that they have detained all the three involved in the crime and are further interrogating them.
