Nuapada: Tightening the noose around the necks of gamblers in the district, police busted a gambling den in Kharar Road area on Saturday and arrested at least three persons.
The held persons have been identified as Nabin Chhatria (32), Tikaram Yadav (22) and Mantu Yadav (19).
Acting upon a tip-off on the gambling den which was running discreetly inside a house in Khariar Road area a team of Jonka Police conducted a raid on it in the morning and apprehended the accused.
The cops also seized cash worth over Rs 6000, 4 motorcycles, 3 mobile phones from the possession of the held gamblers.
The held persons have been forwarded to the court and further investigation is underway in the case.
