Fire in DHH of Boudh in Odisha, short circuit suspected

Boudh: A fire in medicine warehouse in DHH (District Headquarters Hospital) of Boudh has been reported on Thursday, said sources. It has been suspected that the fire allegedly took place due to a short circuit.

According to reports, lakhs of rupees of medicine was reduced to ashes. Highly expensive and rare medicines and injections have been burnt down. The air conditioners (ACs), deep freezer units and many other electrical appliances have also caught fire.

The locals spotted the fire and immediately alerted the local fire services personnel. They reached the spot and tried to douse the flames. But by the time the fire had been doused, property woth lakhs had been destroyed.
