Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway is organising a Children’s Summer Camp for the wards of railway employees at Rail Vihar from Sunday. Sudhir Kumar, Additional General Manager of East Coast Railway today inaugurated the camp in presence of Principal Chief Personnel Officer P. C. Nayak.
Railway officials said that the weeklong camp is being conducted under the aegis of Central Staff Benefit Fund and will conclude on June 9. Children will showcase their talents and skills learnt during the camp on the concluding ceremony.
“More than 375 children will be involved in various activities such as yoga, singing, dancing, swimming, acting, stitching, sand art and martial art. Qualified and trained instructors have also been roped in to guide the children,” said a railway official.
