Separated conjoined twins Jaga & Balia to leave AIIMS Delhi soon

Bhubaneswar: Separated conjoined twins Jaga and Balia are scheduled to Delhi AIIMS very soon. They have under treatment at the premier hospital since 2017.

Reportedly the twins and their parents await a formal clearance from their assigned doctor Dr Gupta, who is on leave currently.

Previously, two doctors from AIIMS Bhubaneswar had visited the twins Jaga and Balia to oversee the transfer. They will be brought to the capital by an air ambulance.

The conjoined twins had undergone a very complex operation back in 2017 at AIIMS Delhi by a team of doctors from India and Japan. Odisha Government has been a constant support for the twins Jaga and Balia and their parents.
