Drugs license of MedPlus in Sailashree Vihar of Bhubaneswar suspended for 7 days

Bhubaneswar: The drugs license of MedPlus in Sailashree Vihar area of Bhubaneswar has been suspended for 7 days, said reports on Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that, a show cause notice was issued to Med Plus a unit of Optival Health Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Duplex No.50, Saileshree Vihar, Chandrasekharpur areaof  Bhubaneswar in Khurda district.

The show cause was issued for contravening the following provisions of Drugs Rules and conditions of Licenses on September 10, said reports.

There was a contravention of the following rules:
01. For non-maintenance of prescription Register as per Rule.
02. For non-maintenance of special Register as per rule.
03. For Non- maintenance of carbon copies of cash/ credit memos. 04. Rule-65 (4) (4) (i): For non-maintenance of purchase record of drugs intended for sale or sold by retail.
05. For non-maintenance of purchase bills numbered in a chronological manner as per rule.
06. For non maintenance of separate register towards supply of drugs specified under Sch. H1.
07. For supplying the drugs specified under Sch- H, H, or X on the prescription other than the one prescribed by the R.M.P.
08. Non-maintenance of Inspection Book as per rule.

Hence it was decided by the Directorate of Drug Control Odisha to suspend the drugs license of MedPlus in Sailashree Vihar area of Bhubaneswar for 7 days, said reports.
