Deadline for enrollment of KALIA scheme extended to Jan 15


Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government on Wednesday extended the deadline for submission of application forms for enrollment in Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) scheme for five more days. The first phase enrollment deadline has been extended till January 15 from January 10.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, while chairing a review meeting on implementation of KALIA scheme at the state secretariat here today, directed the concerned officials to extend the deadline.

Patnaik also asked the officials to ensure that not even a single beneficiary is left out of the state government’s own farmers’ scheme.

During the review meeting, it was further decided to hold the second phase application for enrollment in KALIA scheme from January 25 to February 5.
