Cuttack city (CMC) reports no Covid positive cases, Bhubaneswar (BMC) reports 4 cases today

Bhubaneswar: Positive cases of Coronavirus have significantly reduced in the twin city of Odisha. As on 12 March, no covid cases were registered in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).

On the other hand, Bhubaneswar city (BMC area) reported four positive cases.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1,56,397 while the total recovered cases are 1, 56,911. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1191.  Active cases in the city are 274. The number of recovered cases today is 8.

In CMC, no Covid-19  positive case was found in the last 24 hours. Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 56,017 while the recovered cases are 55,562. The active cases today are 26. The total number of deaths in the city is 429.

After a long fight with the deadly coronavirus in this wave, that was going on for months now, Odisha reported 83 fresh Covid cases including 22 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Saturday. The positive tally stands at 12,86,540.

Reportedly, among the 83 positives, 49 patients are in quarantine, and 34 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha have also soared below 1000 and currently stand at 977.
