163 Covid patients recover in Odisha on March 12

Bhubaneswar: Another 163 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department informed on March 12. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,76,565.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Khordha district followed by Sundergarh and Sambalpur districts.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

23 from Khordha

22 from Sundargarh

18 from Sambalpur

14 from Gajapati

12 from Baleswar

12 from Jharsuguda

9 from Cuttack

8 from Anugul

8 from Kendrapara

8 from Mayurbhanj

5 from Koraput

3 from Bolangir

3 from Ganjam

3 from Jajapur

3 from Malkangiri

2 from Kandhamal

2 from Nuapada

1 from Bargarh

1 from Deogarh

6 from State Pool

After a long fight with the deadly coronavirus in this wave, that was going on for months now, Odisha reported 83 fresh Covid cases including 22 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Saturday. The positive tally stands at 12,86,540.

Reportedly, among the 83 positives, 49 patients are in quarantine, and 34 are the local contacts. The active cases in Odisha have also soared below 1000 and currently stand at 977.
