College girl found dead in hostel room in Kendrapara, murder suspected

Kendrapara: Tension prevailed at a residential college in Dehuria area under Sadar police limits in Kendrapara district last night after a girl student was found dead at her hostel room.

The incident came to light after some hostel mates of the victim spotted her body lying on the floor of his living room and informed the warden.

The girl was immediately rushed to Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) by the college authorities where doctors declared her brought dead.

While the body of the deceased has been sent for autopsy and the report is awaited to ascertain the cause of the death, her mother has alleged it to be a case of murder and demanded inquiry.
